London is in Tier 3 which is not the news that any of us wanted to hear, what does Tier 3 mean?
Hospitality venues will have to close, except for delivery and takeaway service.
Hotels and other accommodation providers must also close.
Shops are allowed to remain open if they are Covid-secure and can be accessed from the street, otherwise they must close.
London’s hairdressers, beauty salons, tattoo parlours, nail salons, and spas can remain open under the new rules.
Tier 3 is not as strict as it has previously been with some shops, gyms and hairdressers remaining open, and the possibility of restrictions easing over the Christmas period. We hope this will have less of a negative impact on Ride-Hailing drivers as the previous Tier 3 lockdowns have had.
