New data from EV Markets Reports’ Charge Point Monitor, updated as of March 2023, shows that the number of public charge points in London has increased by 47,818. So now, London has taken the lead as the city with the most charge points. The United Kingdom's total charge points have almost reached 70,000, which is a 70% increase from the previous year's 40,000.
This growth in charging infrastructure is great for electric cars and growing rapidly. This will give drivers more confidence to switch to electric cars, and it shows that the UK is serious about going electric.
Other countries like Germany and France are also improving their charging infrastructure, making it easier for people to switch to electric cars.
