Before I start the review I will give you some background info about me, as you may find yourself doing similar routines or planning to start the ride-hailing lifestyle!
I work a standard 9-5. The cash I had to spare after paying for life's needs wasn't enough. That's why I began Uber/Bolt as my side hustle.
My shifts include Thursday Night, Friday Night, and Saturday Night. (Night shift may mean different times for different drivers) My night shift is 7 pm to 2 am
Pro tip: Where can I park near busy areas during peak times? This is a question you should be able to answer before every shift, if you can’t then you should do a little exploring to look for those parking spaces that will always keep you near the action.
High level summary of the EV:
The Kia e-Niro is a fantastic car with ample space and long range. It is without a doubt an excellent choice of vehicle for ride-hailing. Although some of the smart features may malfunction occasionally, it does not remove the experience of a smooth drive. This makes being out on the road for many hours a pleasurable experience. It is a vehicle definitely made for city driving, as the battery doesn't hold well doing motor way miles, but i guess you are looking this vehicle because you are a city dweller.
3 pros: Outstanding climate control, Large Cargo space, Speakers are clear even at max volume
Any cons: small door bins
Interesting fact about the car I didn’t know before driving it:
The intelligent cruise control is excellent, almost fully automatically keeps you in lane and a safe distance from the lead driver, could almost say as good as a Tesla auto-pilot
EV specific bonuses/extras: I have received many more jobs now driving as Uber green, perhaps people are becoming more aware of the affects on our planet
