Gatwick makes EV charging history!

London Gatwick has recently opened an Electric Forecourt, making it the first international airport to do so. This new spot has been open for everyone since January 8 and offers 30 electric vehicle chargers. You can pay for them using contactless methods. The place also has fast Wi-Fi, a comfy lounge, a Costa Coffee, a Little Fresh store, and an area where you can learn about electric vehicles.

All the charging bays work on 100% clean energy, and the fastest chargers can give you up to 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes.

Bronwen Jones, the development director at London Gatwick, is proud to be the first international airport with a Gridserve Electric Forecourt. They want to be eco-friendly and create a low-carbon economy by providing facilities like Gridserve. Toddington Harper, the CEO of Gridserve, is excited to welcome people to the new Electric Forecourt and hopes it encourages more folks to go electric.

You can find the Electric Forecourt on the Ring Road South to Gatwick's South Terminal. It's open every day from 4:30 am to 10:00 pm, and the chargers are available 24/7, all year round.
