Meet the Founder & CEO
Nicko Williamson
I’m Nicko, CEO and Founder of WeFlex. We launched in 2016 when I spotted a gap for a flexible financing product for Ride-Hailing drivers. Traditionally, Ride-Hailing drivers would be locked into long, rigid contracts so instead, we offer flexibility with the added benefit of ownership at the end of the contract. We have a friendly team of EV Experts who will find the best solution for our customers.
We also offer a one-stop shop for our customers via our bundled product where we handle everything for our customers from the EV, insurance, charge cards, licensing, servicing and EV education.
I launched my first business, Climatecars when I was 23 (nearly 20 years ago!) fresh out of Bristol University, in a bid to improve the taxi industry’s green credentials. We got people out of black cabs and into our eco-friendly fleet of branded Prius’s (which were somewhat novel at the time!). I successfully sold the company in 2015 to Addison Lee and started WeFlex, with the goal of accelerating the Ride-Hailing markets transition into eco-friendly vehicles.
Fast forward to 2020, we pledged to become 100% electric, in alignment with Uber’s 2025 EV pledge and TfL’s desire to make London a cleaner city.
Fast forward further to now, our offering is simple good value EVs with plenty of choice and 4.7* customer service. In the last 8 years, we have built a team of over 50 people and a fleet of more than 2,300.
Our EVs have driven over 90M zero-emission miles and prevented tonnes of CO2 entering the atmosphere a year.
This is only the start as we want to play a central part in getting all 230,000 licensed drivers in the UK into EVs.
We have one of the largest fleets of EVs in the UK, saving thousands of tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.
We are a diverse team that understands the needs of the Ride-Hailing community. We’re always there to help our customers at every point with our market-leading support team.
We operate from our EV Showroom in West London, where you will find many EVs to choose from and EV experts on hand to answer your questions.

We’ve partnered with some of the biggest names in the Ride-Hailing industry including Uber, Bolt, Veezu & FREENOW to offer the best deals. We’re an Uber Clean Air Plan approved vendor, allowing Uber Partners to use their Clean Air Plan funds towards a WeFlex EV.
