How to get the most out of your EV
The good news is that 250-300+ miles on a single charge is standard for WeFlex vehicles. You may only need to charge 2-3 times a week.
There are external factors which affect the range you will get our of your car, the main one being the weather.
As a general rule:
-
cold temperatures = shorter range
-
warm temperatures = longer range
We've put together some tips on how to get the maximum range in your EV:

Use heated seats if you have them when you don’t need to heat your whole car - this saves energy
Avoid using the heater or air conditioner when you don’t need it

Go easy on the accelerator

Use regenerative braking, which allows electric cars to make use of braking energy that would otherwise be wasted.

Drive in ECO mode
There's also charging factors which can affect your range and how much it costs:
Constantly rapid charging your battery can lead to the range dropping – be sure to slow charge too
Only rapid charge to 80% as last 20% takes a long time, and is therefore a waste of money
Generally, the faster the charger, the more money it costs
Some networks charge different pricing at different times of day so do your research!
i.e cheaper at night
Watch out for hidden idling charges at some EV chargers
Most charging apps will show you whether chargers are available and how much they cost – check before you plan to drive to one
A great app to use is ZapMap
Some charging networks provide cheaper rates if you subscribe, so we suggest you look in to subscriptions if there is a charger which you use frequently

BP Pulse is one of the largest networks in the UK with over 9,000 chargers
